Profile
Opened in 2005, The Chef’s Table is
a wine country themed restaurant featuring the freshest in
California cuisine with Mediterranean influences. It is located
in Fresno’s beautiful Fig Garden Village. The ambiance
is wine country comfortable in every detail, from décor
to style to attitude. There are three separate dining areas
at The Chef’s Table, each with its own unique character:
the Wine Cellar Dining Room, the Vineyard Patio and the Bocce
Ball Patio.
Wine Cellar Dining Room
- Over 6,000 bottles of wine and
700 selections on display
- Exhibition kitchen; where
you watch your meal being prepared in front of you
- Seating
anytime between 5:30 and 10:00 Tuesday through Saturday
Vineyard Patio
- 15 tables
- Fully covered
and heated in the winter with fans and misters in the summer
- Non-smoking
- Reservations
highly encouraged
Bocce Ball Patio
A little touch of Tuscany awaits you on our Bocce
Ball Patio. On this patio you can enjoy cocktails, appetizers,
dinner or dessert…or simply play a game of bocce ball
on our oyster shell court!
Private Dining
With a menu and setting as unique as that found at
The Chef’s Table, it’s only natural that you might
want to arrange a private party. We’re more than happy
to oblige!
Private dinners in the Wine Cellar Dining Room are
available for a maximum of 20 guests. Please
note: even during private parties, the exhibition kitchen will
still be preparing food for guests in the Vineyard Patio and
Bocce Ball Patio.
Private dining is also available on the Vineyard
Patio and/or the Bocce Ball Patio. The entire restaurant, inside
and out, may be booked privately, too. All private events must
be coordinated with Elizabeth Noble, General Manager.

Design/Construction Team
Theo Bluhm of TABA Architecture expertly devised the
architectural plans. Conrad Jimenez of Art Conrad Design created
the restaurant’s design. Dushan Spadier of Spadier Construction
executed the construction. Simon Cole of Development Plus skillfully
designed, fabricated and installed the millwork.
Finally, a
special thank-you to my friend Mike Vukovich who was instrumental
in helping to develop this idea. His support, encouragement,
expertise and critical thinking were vitally important to this
project. (By last count, it took 214 bottles of cabernet sauvignon
and who knows how many dinners to figure this project out!)
